Robinson Services sponsor BTWShiells Maracycle from Dundalk to Derry
Robinson Services is proud to announce the success of Team BTWShiells, made up of various Shopping Centre Managers and Staff from BTWShiells, who recently took on a Maracycle from Dundalk to Derry to raise money for The Mary Peters Trust and Co-Operation Ireland. The cycle, which was a total of 213 miles, took place over 3 days, and the team, whose Cycling Shirts were sponsored by Robinson Services, stopped off en route at Buttercrane Shopping Centre where they were met by Buttercrane and Robinson Services employees who had turned out to support and encourage the cyclists. They also took the opportunity to stock up on well earned refreshments!
Ruth Hamill, Human Resources Manager at BTWShiells, commented;
“As ever, Robinson Services has been a source of valuable support for our charity fundraising and we would like to thank the team at Robinson Service for their support of our cycling challenge. The weekend was a resounding success and in addition to the physical challenge, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how well the team gelled and supported each other throughout. We are still collecting monies, however, we believe we are well on our way to achieving our £5,000 target, with an even split between both charities, namely Mary Peters Trust and Co-Operation Ireland. We intend to run the same event next year in May and would love if Robinson Services could once again join us as their support and encouragement is much appreciated.”
