Robinson Services are delighted to announce that their inaugural Robinson Services Charity Christmas Coffee Morning was a roaring success, with many talented bakers getting their recipe books out and raising £160 for CLIC Sargent charity in addition to the donation of £500 already pledged to The Simon Community Charity.

CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. They are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement. Robinson Services is sure that you will agree, it’s a very worthy cause.

Jane Askin, Human Resources Manager at Robinson Services, commented; “A massive thank you to all those who baked goodies, including Heather Walls, Hazel Mark, Corinna Nesbitt, Leon Gilchrist, Nuala McNally, Adrian McCourt, Jacqui Lewis, and those who helped to set up, bought goodies, took part in the quiz and donated very generously to the pot.  We raised a very impressive £160 which will be donated to our nominated charity for 2013; CLIC Sargent. In addition, thanks to all who provided embarrassing baby snaps for the quiz! Finally I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of Robinson Services, to say that we wish our clients a prosperous and peaceful New Year.”
