T20 Cup Triumph for North Down in Robinson Services Cup and Cregagh Pick Up Robinson Services Trophy

North Down have won the Robinson Services T20 Cup sponsored by one of the country’s biggest employers, Robinson Services, they defeated Waringstown at Comber at the weekend by 7 wickets.
And in the league Cregagh Cricket Club picked up the Robinson Services Trophy after defeating Muckamore to win the trophy with a better net run rate.
Robinson Services are one of Northern Ireland’s largest Support Services providers with its Head office in Antrim and sponsors the Northern Cricket Union’s Premier and Senior Leagues in a sponsorship deal as well as sponsoring awards to players who score a century, take six wickets or perform a hat trick.
David Robinson Managing Director, Robinson Services who handed over the trophies commented: “We would like to congratulate all the teams at North Down and Cregagh on their success in this unusual season. Their  performances on the cricket field have been exceptional and they are very worthy winners. We  are very much looking forward to seeing if they both can repeat this success next year but as we know everyone wants to beat the champions so they will once again need to bring their ‘A’ game to retain the trophies.
A word of thanks also to everyone at the NCU and president Richard Johnson for working with us throughout this sponsorship year and we look forward to  continuing to work with them in the future “.
