Every ‘king needs a castle’ and Rex ‘King of Cleans’ has arrived in Belfast’s CastleCourt Shopping Centre. Rex now joins the support services team from Robinson Services as they celebrate a contract extension for the Cleaning Contract at CastleCourt, one of Northern Ireland’s biggest and busiest shopping centres. This two year contract extension now means that Robinson Services have been providing FM Cleaning Service support to this prestigious client for over 13 years in the heart of Belfast city centre.

Leon Gilchrist, Business Development Manager at Robinson Services, part of the Bidvest Noonan Group commented: “This contract extension win adds to the already impressive portfolio of shopping centre clients that we have at Robinson Services.  Across all divisions we are proving that our high quality of service, innovation, dedication and hard work will continue to build our business and further expand the business within our Northern Ireland base. This contract extension is proof positive that our ability to provide tailor made FM solutions across all sectors in Northern Ireland is proving to be a recipe for success. We thank all the team at CastleCourt Shopping Centre for the faith shown in us and we look forward to continuing to work with them and the management team in this exciting time. The partnership over the past 13 years shows our client’s confidence in our knowledge of the retail sector and our ongoing commitment to training and innovation using the latest technology… cue enter ‘Rex the robot cleaner’!

We’re always on the lookout for the latest innovation to demonstrate Robinson Service’s commitment to supporting our customers with the very latest technology and innovation is front and centre of our thinking. Rex has now passed his probationary period with us and indeed he was the centre of attention from staff and customers alike – he was mobbed by fascinated young and old minds all keen to introduce themselves and rumour has it he had a few proposals of marriage and offers to be taken home to help with the housework.

We look forward to Rex continuing his career with us at CastleCourt and he has immediately become a valued member of our support team here as we continue to push the business forward with the latest technology that meets the needs of our customer portfolio.”

Leona Barr, Centre Manager at CastleCourt Shopping Centre commented on the contract extension: “Robinson Services insight into providing us with a tailor-made solution over the past years to meet our needs meant their appointment came with a strong sense of assurance that they will continue to deliver an exceptional level of service across the shopping centre.”
