It’s a Walk in The Park for Robinson Services Head Office Staff as they Support Aware NI
A Derry-born charity, Aware NI have two offices; one in Derry/Londonderry and a second office in Belfast. AWARE has an established network of support groups across the province which are run by their trained volunteers. The support groups welcome people with depression and bipolar disorder as well as carers for people with the illness. They also deliver information outreach sessions and attend community events to give more information about AWARE and their services.
AWARE delivers mental health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges, universities and workplaces which take a preventative approach to mental ill-health and teach attendees techniques to look after their own mental health and well-being.
Louise Macdonald, HR Director, Robinson Services commented, “We’ve been blown away this morning by the support and generosity of our staff for Aware NI and with everyon’e support we raised £300 on the day for Aware NI.
Everyone will be affected in some way by a mental health condition during the course of their life, and Aware NI are a vital service that provides local support and resources to individuals and families. Robinson Services are looking forward to working with Aware NI on training initiatives for our staff during 2023.”
