Robinson Services Security Division Prepare to Hit it for Six as They Prepare for ACS SIA Audit

Robinson Services are getting ready to ‘strike’ it lucky for the sixth year running and successfully increase their score in the Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS ) for the Security Industry Association (SIA ).  The intensive audit is due in May and preparations are well underway as the team strive to increase their ACS external audit score which would once again place them in the top 5% of Security companies in the UK.

The ACS audits exist to help all kinds of organizations put in place demonstrably sound security and safety performance and is widely seen as the world’s most recognized Security management systems standard.

During the last audit it was noted that Robinson Services has a robust and comprehensive Management System to meet the requirements  with good communication and control of the system and associated records.  The report observed that throughout the organisation there was evidence of on-going improvements with clearly defined plans, objectives, targets and Health and Safety Schedules, and that all auditees were helpful and aware of their requirements.

Robinson Services are currently in the Top 5% within the UK and the top 2% in Northern Ireland within the Security industry and this is positive proof that the investment in training always reaps rewards.

Stephen Wood , Operations Director at Robinson Services, commented: “Months of hard work will go into ensuring that Robinson Services fulfill the requirements set by the ACS SIA and all of our Operations Managers and Area Supervisors are highly motivated for going the extra mile to reach our objectives for the audit in May.

Across the Security divisions of the company, and at our Head Office in Antrim, you can see the important contributions we have made and therefore I was extremely proud to announce that during the Audit Report last year there were no non-conformances found at all.  I would like to thank everyone involved in helping to ensure that this audit be a success for the sixth year running. Whilst there may have been some lucky ‘strikes at the recent Ten Pin Bowling Team Bonding initiative rest assured there will be nothing lucky about the May results .. it will be down to good old fashioned hard work , diligence and training… bring it on as we are ready and raring to go!’
