First up is Sharon.
Sharon is one of our many Cleaning Operatives and has been with Robinson Services for 3 years.
What’s a typical day for you? A typical working day for me is waking at 5am, coffee, shower, and on my first site for 6.20am. This is a three-hour shift which starts with a very friendly good morning from all the staff, then at 9.20am I drive to my second site (a 2-hour shift) and then off to my third site finishing at 2.15 pm. My work is done and the rest of the day is my own.
What do you enjoy most about working for Robinson Services? What I enjoy most about my job is the people I've met, not just in Robinsons but across my sites. I have made some really lovely friends which for me having been a stay-at-home mum for many years has really built my confidence again. There's a choice of hours that would fit in so well with school runs or other daily commitments………
What would you say to anyone thinking of applying to Robinson Services? You will be fully trained in everything before you start, and it's also a very sociable job as you meet lots of new people.”
