Our Drive-through security patrols serve a very useful purpose.Our drive-through patrol service does not remain on-site and generally uses a vehicle to make the rounds. This type of patrol is less expensive then a dedicated on-site security guard because of the limited time spent on the property. Highly visible, drive-through security services are ideal for the patrol of commercial properties after business hours or on private property not open to the public.

Our Drive through service observes or tests all accessible gates, doors, and windows and makes sure they are secured and can report the conditions found on the property to the business owner or the police. Another purpose is to make sure no unauthorized persons are trespassing on private property. If you wish our drive-through security services may also respond to alarm signals, but this requires a more specialized guard force.

The Training Continues at Robinson Services with World Host Principles of Customer Care Training Programme

On Saturday 5 November a group of Robinson Services Security Officers attended a World Host, Principles of  Customer Care Training session. The training was designed for officers deployed in a Front of House Customer Service role, officers that are in contact with customers, clients and members of the public throughout their day, World-class Customer Service is traditionally defined as the ability to meet or exceed a customer’s expectations. At Robinson Services we are constantly striving to be the “best in class”, by delivering ongoing training that allows our officers to develop the correct skill set that enables them to undertake a greater variety of work in a competent professional manner.

Northern Ireland’s Leading Support Services Business Secures 3 year contract to provide Cleaning Services to Queen’s University Belfast

Queen’s University Belfast has awarded a 3 year contract to Robinson Services to provide the cleaning services to approximately 40% of the university campus. The contract involves the provision of cleaning and laundry services to some of the  most interesting and iconic buildings in Northern Ireland. The contract commenced on 9 July 16 and will run concurrently for a period of 3 years.
Queen’s University Belfast is steeped in heritage yet benefits from world-class, state-of-the-art facilities and Robinson Services are proud to have an association with such a high profile centre of excellence . Under the contract, which runs until 2019, Robinson Services will provide specialised services to ensure the 3700 employees and 25,000  undergraduate/postgraduate students receive the highest possible hygiene standards.

Another Year of Success for Robinson Services at the BICSs Awards 2016

Congratulations to Carol Harris and Tina McAleer who made it through to the British Institute of Cleaning Science Cleaning Operative of the year for 2016.

Carol was shortlisted for Office Cleaning Operative and Tina for Retail Cleaning Operative, with Tina winning the overall award for retail – coincidentally this is the fourth consecutive year Robinson Services have picked up the award in this category. The well attended award ceremony took place in Belfast City Hall, with the Belfast Lord Mayor and CEO of BICSs in attendance.

Robinson Services still going strong after 20 years at The Buttercrane Shopping Centre Newry.

Robinson Services were delighted to celebrate their 20th year at the Buttercrane Centre with a quiz night on Monday 18 July 16. Whilst this was marketed as a quiz night to the staff, it would be fair to say it was a “quiz with a difference”. Not only did it involve, the proverbial sports, music and picture round, this quiz had a darts, table tennis and limbo dancing round . The gathering included many staff that had worked at The Centre for over 10 years and some of the most recent recruits.

Robinson Services first started providing cleaning at The Buttercrane in July 1996, when they were awarded a 3 year cleaning contract, then in August 15, following a competitive tender process were awarded a 3 year contract to provide the cleaning, security, maintenance and customer services.
